Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of relevant quality experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old to work in plants co-packaging alcoholic beverages
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts as required
- Capacity to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, driving, and climbing stairs or ladders
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards
- No travel required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with SQF, GMP, SAP, Six Sigma, and food safety requirements
- Experience in a food or beverage laboratory preferred
- Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to read and understand the metric system
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment
Job Duties
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures including GMPs and wear required personal protective equipment in warehouse and production areas
- Ensure products meet customer specifications as outlined in SAP
- Perform chemical and physical analysis on raw materials, finished batches, treated water, and packaging materials
- Conduct audits to monitor finished product and packaging integrity
- Check process control parameters such as seal, closure torque, and can seam to assure proper equipment operation
- Stop production if food safety is questionable and alert management immediately
- Maintain accurate, legible records of tests and complete all required reports in a timely manner
