Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- current Kansas CNA license
- ability to complete activities and restorative aide certifications within 45 days of hire

Job Duties
- Planning and creating events to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and special occasions
- decorating and preparing common areas and neighborhoods for holidays and events
- encouraging and assisting staff and elders in decorating neighborhoods
- notifying families and elders of upcoming events and holidays
- completing daily documentation on restorative programs for assigned neighborhoods
- completing MDS Section F for activities including quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments
- conducting activities initial reviews and participation reviews
- developing weekly activity calendars and event flyers
- executing restorative programs tailored to individual residents such as mobility exercises and group sessions
- attending weekly training sessions on restorative programs
- communicating with the director regarding the appropriateness of programs
