Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of combined education and experience
- HACCP certification
- Ability to obtain SQF practitioner certification
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience conducting food safety audits

Job Duties
- Organizes and leads the HACCP and HARPC team and the internal audit team
- Performs verification and validation activities
- Assists with the oversight of sanitation activities
- Leads second and third party audit preparation to be always audit ready
- Conducts and manages employee training on HACCP, food defense, allergens, foreign material, GMP, etc.
- Ensures document and record control including change control, storage, retrieval, and destruction
- Verifies that packaging, labels, ingredients, and finished products meet standards
- Directs beverage handlers and production personnel in sanitary procedures
- Assists with new product commissioning
- Assists with supplier and ingredient approval
- Assists with organic, kosher, and other specialized programs
- Reports areas of concern and needed improvements to plant manager
- Performs other duties as assigned
