Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with electromechanical component inspection
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing standards
- Physically able to kneel and climb ladders
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status to comply with ITAR regulations
- Availability for part-time work schedule
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to travel as required
Job Qualifications
- Experience inspecting generators chillers air conditioners cooling modules or other HVAC or cooling systems
- Ability to read and interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
- Extensive technical training or experience within a technical discipline
- Ability to perform physical inspection tasks such as kneeling or climbing ladders
- Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection methodologies
Job Duties
- Perform inspection activities including visual physical and dimensional inspections of machined electromechanical and other parts according to client requirements and specifications
- Inspect incoming products or services from external providers such as nickel plating
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of critical features including witness inspections
- Compile final inspection sign-off sheets and report packages
- Verify inspection equipment capability to detect defects
- Validate inspection methodologies against drawing intent
- Audit and validate execution of inspection plans
- Provide weekly reports on manufacturing site progress equipment quality and delivery details
- Conduct periodic quality audits of supplier factories and report results
- Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance
- Ensure supplier quality control system documents findings
- Provide customer witness for test scripts including Factory Acceptance Testing validating equipment compliance before shipment
