Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or control role
- Ability to travel up to 100 percent and remain present on project sites
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of testing laboratory protocols and construction processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and appearance
- Up-to-date certifications related to job functions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA/QC role
- Education towards an engineering or technical degree may be substituted for experience
- Familiarity with construction testing protocols and procedures
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of quality documentation and reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site and build relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Professional demeanor and appearance
Job Duties
- Conduct and document inspections according to approved Inspection and Test Plans
- Ensure accuracy, legibility, and traceability of quality reports
- Communicate effectively with owners, representatives, and site supervision
- Maintain familiarity with construction processes including soils, concrete, asphalt, steel, mechanical, and welding
- Assist in assuring project QC documentation completeness and procedural compliance
- Conduct QA/QC meetings and maintain logs of deficiencies and punch list items
- Prepare detailed inspection activity reports
- Schedule inspections with local, state, governmental agencies and third-party testing
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between project specifications and codes
- Consult with Director of Quality on complex issues
- Maintain professional attitude and appearance
- Stay updated on job-related certifications
