Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related field preferred
- 2-3 years of leadership experience in quality, food safety, or sanitation
- PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred
- ability to promote a culture of food safety
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- proficiency with MS Office
- willingness to participate in audits and training
- commitment to associate development and accountability
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science or related scientific major preferred
- PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred
- 2-3 years of experience leading quality, food safety, or sanitation teams in a commercial food production environment
- leadership skills focused on associate development and accountability
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- computer proficiency including MS Office products
Job Duties
- Promotes a culture of food safety among bakery associates through education and policy reinforcement
- assists in maintaining audit-ready compliance to all internal and external quality food safety policies
- ensures product scoring and related paperwork are completed accurately and on-schedule
- coordinates new-hire GMP/HACCP training
- participates in third-party audits including SQF and AIB
- develops and holds associates accountable with a leadership focus
- collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety standards
