Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in food science or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience in quality, food safety, or sanitation
  • PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred
  • ability to promote a culture of food safety
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with MS Office
  • willingness to participate in audits and training
  • commitment to associate development and accountability

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food science or related scientific major preferred
  • PCQI and HACCP certifications strongly preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience leading quality, food safety, or sanitation teams in a commercial food production environment
  • leadership skills focused on associate development and accountability
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • computer proficiency including MS Office products

Job Duties

  • Promotes a culture of food safety among bakery associates through education and policy reinforcement
  • assists in maintaining audit-ready compliance to all internal and external quality food safety policies
  • ensures product scoring and related paperwork are completed accurately and on-schedule
  • coordinates new-hire GMP/HACCP training
  • participates in third-party audits including SQF and AIB
  • develops and holds associates accountable with a leadership focus
  • collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety standards
