Job Requirements

  • Must be hard working and able to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Must be punctual and self-motivated
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds using proper safety methods
  • Must be able to perform physical requirements including walking, standing, stooping, and climbing
  • Must be able to work in a facility that handles allergens including wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery, and mustard
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, and Internet
  • Must have demonstrated ability in performing accurate data entry
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to work individually and with a team
  • Ability to work in open environments exposed to pungent odors and varying climates

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months prior experience in quality control or related field preferred
  • Proven ability to accurately perform data entry
  • Demonstrated ability in basic mathematics
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Internet
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to work in environments exposed to allergens including wheat, soy, egg, milk, celery, and mustard
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 35 pounds

Job Duties

  • Monitor all production critical control points and record data
  • Maintain clear and legible documentation and perform accurate data entry in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all evaluation equipment is clean and functioning properly
  • Place non-conforming product on hold
  • Communicate product spec issues or changes in production quality to supervisor or lead personnel
  • Collect all samples required during production operation
  • Perform ATP swabbing and additional swabbing as needed
  • Operate moisture analysis, bulk density, and rotap sampling equipment
  • Verify pre-op documentation and periodically perform quality control checks
  • Verify product labeling at production start-up
  • Inspect ingredients and lot traceability on production paperwork
  • Monitor internal pre-requisite programs
  • Provide clear and accurate shift pass downs
  • Follow standard operating procedures for line equipment and perform cleaning
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices while in production areas
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes
  • Complete all other duties as assigned or required
