Job Requirements

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • must be able to reach above shoulder for periods of time
  • must be able to stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, push, pull, grasp, twist, lift, and climb steps
  • must be able to discern shades of color
  • must be able to hear warnings or verbal alerts to avoid injury during manufacturing process
  • must be able to read, write and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information relating to quality and production issues
  • must possess basic math and PC skills
  • must complete new hire orientation training and successfully certify in two production areas within six months
  • previous experience with SAP is a plus

Job Duties

  • Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times
  • monitors multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards in two production areas to support one production floor
  • verifies correctness of components from shop order to component number to prevent mixed or wrong parts
  • performs quality checks visually and using various inspection gauges
  • performs testing of assembled product to ensure product meets performance requirements
  • fills machine hoppers for multiple machines
  • responsible for preparing boxes as needed to meet production demands
  • pulls skids from production site to warehouse where applicable
  • performs rework at machine and sorts machine scrap
  • removes minor machine jams
  • must be able to follow backtracking procedures efficiently and effectively
  • performs recordkeeping duties using various production forms and a PC
  • loads tubing onto or into machinery where necessary
  • performs traceability and lot control functions utilizing a hand-held scanner
  • performs and meets the requirements of BRC GMP ISO in all job activities
