Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- SQF certified for bakery
- HACCP certified
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing environment
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Ability to conduct quality audits and manage QA/QC processes
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to lead training programs
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- SQF certified for bakery
- HACCP certified
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated experience conducting quality audits
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies
- Experience with recall processes
Job Duties
- Responsible for all quality control on production floor including ingredient measurement and dough mixing
- Oversee proper packaging, lot coding, and weight checks
- Manage SQF records such as cold storage, scale calibration, production, packaging, x-ray, pre-operation and operation records
- Approve daily SQF records and handle receiving, shipping, and periodic records with CEO
- Pull COAs from manufacturers and distributors and manage allergen and microbiological testing schedules
- Lead training initiatives for staff on quality control procedures and best practices
- Analyze quality inspection data to identify trends and implement corrective actions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies regarding quality inquiries
- Lead biannual mock recall activities
- Maintain a clean and safe factory environment
- Assist in continuous improvement and production optimization efforts
