Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-6 years of experience in quality assurance or related field
  • proficiency in MS Office
  • ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • ability to pass federal, state, local government background checks, clearances, and drug and alcohol tests

Job Duties

  • Advise operators on escalation procedures
  • responsible for documentation of inbound and trailer defects including photos, reports, and data entry
  • report and follow-up on all inbound and trailer defects including returns, rework, and accessorial
  • distribute WPPS and procedure updates
  • conduct shift training on quality, rework projects, standard updates and procedure updates
  • assist in managing rework projects
  • act as safety liaison handling incident reporting, follow-up, and investigations
  • perform quality checks and release product when required
  • perform root cause analysis and develop action plans for quality issues
  • serve as contact for pest control in absence of Quality Manager
  • conduct shift audits
  • monitor operator compliance with standards
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • follow all SOP and safety guidelines
  • maintain a high level of quality in work performed
  • perform other duties as assigned
