Job Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to respond within one hour when called to work
  • Capable of passing background and security screening
  • Successful completion of physical examination including drug test
  • Maintain mandatory security clearance
  • Physically able to perform duties with adequate strength and stamina

Job Qualifications

  • Four years of experience in plumbing and steamfitting trade tasks
  • Two years performing skilled plumbing and steamfitting duties
  • Preferred P1 or P2 plumbing license
  • Experience in maintaining and repairing fire sprinkler systems
  • Experience with commercial and industrial plumbing systems
  • Ability to independently assess and complete assignments with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Perform high-skilled plumbing and steamfitting tasks according to trade practices and codes
  • Assemble, install and repair air, gas, water, steam and sewer systems
  • Cut, bend, ream and thread pipes
  • Caulk and test joints
  • Install and repair gas, water, steam and sanitary fixtures
  • Repair and replace dry/wet sprinkler systems and components
  • Disassemble, clean, overhaul and rebuild valves, pumps, filters, and other pumping systems
  • Conduct monthly churn tests on fire pumps
  • Maintain inspection and repair records for sprinkler systems
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues
  • Collaborate with HVAC and fuel dispensing equipment maintenance
  • Respond promptly to emergency operations as required
