Job Requirements
- certificate iii or iv in commercial cookery or equivalent
- experience in commercial or aged care cookery
- understanding of food safety and HACCP principles
- ability to work Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- compassionate attitude towards resident care

Job Duties
- prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet specific dietary requirements
- ensure all food preparation complies with food safety and HACCP standards
- collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a welcoming and efficient kitchen environment
- assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to accommodate resident preferences and health needs
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of all kitchen areas
- monitor food quality and portion sizes to meet budget and nutritional guidelines
- contribute to a positive dining experience by fostering teamwork and effective communication
