Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • perform caustic titration on lines running
  • verify raw weights on applicable products twice per shift
  • verify cooked weights on applicable products twice per shift
  • verify product dimensions including baked and raw lengths and diameter twice per shift
  • observe shapes and appearances of products hourly
  • verify internal temperatures on products twice per shift
  • verify and record temperature readings on coolers, spiral freezers, and holding freezer
  • check lot numbers on mixer sheets once per shift
  • monitor Good Manufacturing Practices compliance
  • calibrate production scales daily as assigned
  • conduct pretzel bake off/fry off and sensory evaluation once per shift
  • verify packaging room leader metal detector checks twice per shift
  • verify case codes, inner box codes, and date coders twice per shift
  • complete line clearance after each product changeover
  • verify film, lap codes, and dated codes at product start
  • verify case count accuracy twice per shift
  • check case weights following Net Weight Verification Program twice per shift
  • take photo of label, printed box, and date code once per shift
  • perform thermometer and caliper calibration verification on Monday only
  • conduct refrigeration and freezer monitor checks once per shift
  • verify incoming trucks and ingredients
  • perform warehouse spot checks on ingredients and packaging materials
  • conduct walkthrough and pre-op microbial swabbing on a rotational basis
  • perform silo inspections at defrost
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
