Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills
- knowledge of HACCP standards
- ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand, bend, and twist
- comfort working with sharp knives and hot plates
- ability to work in hot environments
- ability to immerse hands in water with chemical solutions frequently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years cooking experience in high volume or fast casual dining
- knowledge of sauces, soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry
- ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- effective communication skills
- supervisor or lead experience preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
- perform station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
- communicate ticket times and potential issues to manager and servers
- clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- follow food safety and HACCP standards
- operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
- stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
- perform other duties as assigned
