Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a business or engineering related field
- Minimum five years experience in supply planning or purchasing related role
- Experience preferably in food manufacturing or CPG environment
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify problem root causes and implement solutions
- Ability to work with project management software such as Ziflow and Monday.com
- Ability to create and train on standard operating procedures
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
- Willingness to taste a variety of ingredients with different flavor attributes
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with additional hours as required

- Success in a supply chain or purchasing manager role
- Ability to maximize team potential while providing constructive feedback
- Understanding of supply chain management best practices

- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Experience working with project management software such as Ziflow and Monday.com
- Ability to create and train on standard operating procedures
- Strong PowerPoint and visualization presentation skills
- Ability to interpret project metrics and KPIs
- Supervisory experience leading a team of fewer than five employees
Job Duties
- Manage a team of buyers and sourcing professionals to ensure purchasing, planning and production goals are met
- Participate in new product development process and ensure adequate sourcing resources are available to support the process
- Oversee the maintenance of item planning data within the ERP system to optimize purchasing spend while maintaining target inventory levels
- Manage day to day operations of BBF's network of international freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Support BBF's LEAN culture by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and act as a change agent for the organization
- Support the VP of Supply Planning with corporate and department projects and initiatives
- Help maintain a healthy and safe work environment
- Perform other tasks as assigned
