Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- food handler certification
- at least 1 year of purchasing or receiving experience preferred
- supervisory experience preferred
- working knowledge of the hotel or restaurant industry preferred
- ability to perform arithmetic calculations
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- ability to remain calm and collected
- proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office
- knowledge of POS systems
- proficiency in Clearsky software
- ability to write reports and departmental procedures
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Supervise all purchasing, receiving, and storage functions for all food and beverage products
- maintain a 95% compliance with the Avendra program
- assist with month end inventories in recording, capturing, and inputting correct data
- communicate clearly with the accounting team to ensure a problem-free month end process
- be fluent and proficient in the use, creation, and execution of Clearsky software for daily operation and training
- ensure proper use of property mandated ordering and receiving tools and platforms
- administer policies and procedures for requisition of materials from departments
- review and maintain accurate PAR levels
- ensure reconciliation of products in storage and resolve discrepancies
- enforce safe, clean, and orderly storage management
- attend and report at weekly food and beverage and wage meetings
- organize monthly communication meetings for the purchasing team
- develop and implement process improvements
- coordinate monthly health and safety training submissions
- ensure safe work procedures
- conduct daily stand-up meetings and recognize staff achievements
- complete associate training, communication, and development follow-ups
- generate production reports and inventory updates for management
- manage invoices and ensure they are current
- monitor slow moving and obsolete inventory and recommend disposal
- communicate and complete MROs as required
- ensure appropriate cost distribution for bulk orders
- manage vendor relationships and procurement contracts
- develop and grow the team to take on additional roles as part of growth strategy
