Job Requirements

  • Minimum one-year hospitality experience in housekeeping
  • Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively

Job Duties

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all front of the house and back-of-house areas
  • Maintain hotel elevator landings by vacuuming, cleaning all surfaces including glass and furniture, dusting, removal of trash and recycling
  • Maintain the cleanliness of service landings and linen closets including removal of trash and recycling
  • Collect and transport dirty glassware to stewarding for washing and return clean glassware
  • Notify supervisor promptly of any special guestroom or suite issues including reporting maintenance needs
  • Clean and sanitize all public areas including lobby, bathrooms, elevators, fitness center equipment, and employee areas
  • Refill sanitizing stations and replenish paper goods and soap dispensers
  • Work as a team member to maintain positive inter-departmental relationships and a pleasant work environment
  • Follow all hotel policies and safety regulations and report any security or safety issues
  • Deliver guest needs promptly and provide genuine hospitality with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction
