Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior security, customer service, or administrative experience a plus
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training required within 120 days of hire
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID 19 or have a signed exemption
- Ability to work 32 hours per week including day shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to interact professionally with patients, visitors, and staff
- Reliable and able to work independently
Job Qualifications

- Completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training within 120 days of hire
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact and source of information for patients and guests
- Monitor and ensure that all visitors have legitimate business on the property
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors, including those needing special assistance
- Employ exceptional customer service skills to welcome all visitors
- Utilize independent problem-solving skills in the absence of direct supervision
- Manage and de-escalate aggressive behavior according to training
- Collaborate with other security and hospital staff to maintain safety and compliance
