Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • prior security, customer service, or administrative experience a plus
  • completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training within 120 days of hire
  • fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID 19 virus or exempt by signed statement
  • ability to work day shift hours including weekends and holidays
  • must be able to perform duties without direct supervision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • prior security experience is a plus
  • customer service or administrative experience preferred
  • completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training within 120 days of hire
  • fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or have an approved exemption
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work independently and handle conflict

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors
  • ensure all visitors are authorized or have legitimate business on the property
  • provide exceptional customer service by welcoming guests and offering directions
  • request assistance for visitors needing special support
  • think independently and apply problem-solving skills without direct supervision
  • manage visitor access and maintain safety protocols
  • communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding visitor proceedings
