Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field
- minimum 5 years of related media experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
- basic knowledge of video and photo production and logistics
- experience with pitching and securing media coverage
- consistent attendance
- ability to perform essential duties with reasonable accommodation for disabilities

Job Duties
- Manage the development of the overall strategy for Universal Kids Resort’s key Public Relations initiatives in partnership with department management and other key internal partners
- manage UKR’s overarching destination messaging and media outreach strategy
- define and shape creative concepts and collaborate on the production of photo and video shoots, digital content and other written content
- manage planning, logistics and implementation of PR efforts and destination messaging plans
- partner with External Affairs to support external communications, intake for communications opportunities, and crisis planning
- follow UDX environmental, health and safety policies
- perform other duties as assigned
