Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to work in physically demanding environment requiring reaching crouching kneeling standing or bending for extended periods
- ability to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
- knowledge of commercial cleaning chemicals and safety standards
- ability to work in conditions requiring protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials
- effective communication skills
- willingness to provide courteous guest interaction
- ability to follow detailed instructions and report issues promptly
- ability to maintain organized and stocked cleaning supplies and storage areas
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- knowledge of commercial use cleaning chemicals
- ability to frequent lobby area and identify areas needing touch up
- proficient knowledge of housekeeping and hotel policies cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- knowledge of OSHA safety standards regarding chemical work
- awareness of hotel services and amenities to assist guests
- understanding of health and safety regulations including handling biohazard materials
- ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests
- clear understanding of instructions and ability to report maintenance or security concerns
- ability to keep cleaning supplies carts and storage orderly
- ability to work independently completing tasks efficiently
- willingness to work collaboratively with housekeeping and hotel staff
- respect for guest privacy and confidentiality
- ability to work in physically demanding environment
Job Duties
- start daily assignments according to structure
- check meeting rooms and restaurant and clean as needed
- clean lobby bathrooms and dust pictures and wipe walls
- clean all areas of the lobby including furniture, walls, windows, frames, exit doors, art, lamps, wood molding
- replenish and organize magazines
- report or replace burnt light bulbs
- shampoo rooms as requested
- assist with guest special requests such as rollaway beds or baby cribs
- stock products relative to position to proper levels
- keep storage areas clean and organized
- write or report all maintenance requests and mechanical deficiencies
- perform other duties as assigned
