Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • No prior experience required as training is provided
  • Ability to pass stringent background investigation
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to operate heavy cleaning tools
  • Ability to prepare custodial heavy cleaning reports
  • Ability to retain information from training
  • Effective communication and good public and employee relations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others

Job Duties

  • Performs custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal
  • Cleans restrooms and windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and carpets
  • Cleans Bingo Hall, Slot Machines, and related furnishings
  • Complies with Housekeeping Department Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assists in emergency evacuations and supports Security Department during emergencies
  • Moves or lifts furniture and boxes
  • Cleans ceiling fixtures using ladders and high lifts
  • Maintains and cleans custodial equipment and reports repair needs to supervisor
  • Disposes of trash and recycles used boxes
  • Mentors new custodial employees during probation using buddy system
  • Attends and completes required departmental training including bio clean-up and chemical safety
  • Reports maintenance or hazardous issues
  • Submits lost and found items to Security or supervisor
  • Completes assigned project tasks
  • Provides proper customer service assisting guests and internal clients
  • Maintains punctuality and regular attendance as per schedule
