Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • no prior experience required, training will be provided
  • must be able to pass a stringent background investigation
  • will require pre-employment and random drug screening
  • must be physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds and performing physical duties such as balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
  • ability to work in conditions involving noise, vibration, fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation
  • punctual and regular attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • custodial experience preferred
  • ability to work with others
  • ability to operate heavy cleaning tools
  • ability to prepare custodial heavy cleaning reports
  • ability to retain information from training
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to maintain good public and employee relations

Job Duties

  • Performs custodial duties: dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal, restroom cleaning
  • cleaning of windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and carpet cleaning
  • performs cleaning of Bingo Hall, Slot Machines, and other furnishings
  • complies with Housekeeping Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • evacuates the building or assists Security during emergencies
  • moves or lifts furniture and boxes
  • cleans ceiling fixtures using ladders safely
  • utilizes high lift for custodial tasks when required
  • maintains and cleans custodial equipment
  • reports equipment repair needs to supervisor
  • disposes of trash and recycles used boxes
  • serves as mentor to new custodial employees
  • completes all required departmental training including bio clean-up, carpet shampooing, and chemical safety
  • reports maintenance or hazardous issues
  • manages lost and found items
  • completes project assignments
  • provides proper customer service by assisting guests and team members
  • maintains punctual and regular attendance according to policy
