Job Description

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- No previous experience required, training will be provided
- Ability to pass a stringent background investigation
- Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment and random drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to operate heavy cleaning tools
- Ability to follow custodial procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain good public and employee relations
- Ability to retain information learned during departmental training
- Custodial experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Performs custodial duties such as dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal, restroom cleaning
- cleaning of windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and carpets
- Performs cleaning of Bingo Hall, Slot Machines, and other furnishings
- Complies with Housekeeping Department Standard Operating Procedures
- Assists in emergency evacuation and fire procedures when necessary
- Moves or lifts furniture and boxes
- Cleans ceiling fixtures using ladders safely
- Utilizes high lift equipment for custodial tasks when required
- Performs preventive maintenance and cleaning of custodial equipment
- Reports equipment repair needs to supervisor
- Disposes of trash and recycles used boxes
- Serves as mentor to new custodial employees during probation
- Completes required departmental training including bio clean-up, carpet shampooing, and chemical safety
- Reports maintenance or hazardous issues promptly
- Turns in lost and found items to Security or supervisor
- Completes assigned project tasks
- Provides proper customer service by assisting guests and co-workers
- Maintains punctual and regular attendance according to schedule
- Performs additional duties as assigned
