Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- no mandatory prior experience required as training will be provided
- must pass stringent background investigation
- must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
- capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
- able to perform physical activities such as climbing, crawling, crouching, bending, walking, standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and balancing
- able to work in indoor environments with noise, vibration, and atmospheric conditions such as fumes and dusts.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- custodial experience preferred
- ability to work with others
- ability to operate heavy cleaning tools
- ability to communicate effectively and maintain good public and employee relations
- ability to prepare custodial heavy cleaning reports
- ability to retain information from training sessions
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- reliable and punctual
- able to lift and move heavy objects.
Job Duties
- Performs custodial duties: dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal, restroom cleaning
- cleaning of windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and carpet cleaning
- performs cleaning of Bingo Hall, Slot Machines, and other furnishings
- complies with Housekeeping Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- assists in emergency evacuation procedures
- moves or lifts furniture and boxes
- cleans ceiling fixtures using ladders
- utilizes high lift for custodial tasks when required
- responsible for preventive maintenance and cleaning of custodial equipment
- reports equipment repair needs to supervisor
- disposes of trash as required
- recycles used boxes
- serves as mentor when training new custodial employees
- completes all required departmental training including bio clean-up and chemical safety
- reports maintenance or hazardous issues during tasks
- turns in lost and found items to Security or supervisor
- completes any assigned projects
- provides proper customer service to guests
- maintains punctual and regular attendance.
