Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills in English including verbal, written and electronic
- Ability to follow and interpret directions and instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for 95 percent of the shift
- Capability to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all public areas inside and outside the hotel
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to provide excellent customer service
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Ensure safety standards are met while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to accomplish daily cleaning goals
- Support other hotel departments as needed during busy periods
