Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills in English including verbal, written and electronic
  • Ability to follow and interpret directions and instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to walk and stand for 95 percent of the shift
  • Capability to perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, twisting, pushing and pulling
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of all public areas inside and outside the hotel
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner to provide excellent customer service
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
  • Ensure safety standards are met while handling cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
  • Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to accomplish daily cleaning goals
  • Support other hotel departments as needed during busy periods
