Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
no previous experience required, training provided
must pass stringent background investigation
must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
ability to lift at least 50 pounds
ability to perform physical activities including balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, finger dexterity, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, and talking
must maintain punctual and regular attendance
comply with safety and housekeeping SOPs
willingness to assist in emergency evacuations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
custodial experience preferred
ability to operate heavy cleaning equipment
ability to communicate effectively and maintain good relations with public and employees
ability to work well with others
ability to prepare custodial cleaning reports
ability to retain information from training sessions

Job Duties

Performs custodial duties including dusting, vacuuming, and trash disposal
cleans restrooms
cleans windows, mirrors, walls, doors, and carpets
cleans Bingo Hall, Slot Machines, and other furnishings
complies with Housekeeping Department Standard Operating Procedures
assists in emergency evacuation procedures
moves or lifts furniture and boxes
cleans ceiling fixtures using ladders
utilizes high lift for custodial tasks
performs preventive maintenance of custodial equipment
reports equipment repair needs
disposes of trash and recycles boxes
serves as mentor for new employees during probationary period
completes required departmental training including bio clean-up, carpet shampooing, and chemical safety
reports maintenance or hazardous issues to supervisor
turns in lost and found items
completes project assignments
provides proper customer service by assisting guests
maintains punctual and regular attendance as per schedule
