Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to handle objects weighing up to 55 pounds unassisted and heavier items with assistance
  • ability to move safely on inclined, uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and confined spaces
  • ability to perform physical activities including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
  • comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • work full time with flexible shifts

Job Qualifications

  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • no related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Clean showers and public and employee bathrooms
  • clean glass in public and employee areas
  • clean floor surfaces in public and employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • dust surfaces in assigned areas
  • empty trash containers, ashtrays, and cigarette urns in public areas into appropriate receptacles
  • inspect furniture for damages such as breaks, tears, or stains and report damages
  • clean and maintain lighting fixtures
  • place caution signs to reduce traffic when necessary
  • contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • promptly respond to guest and departmental requests
  • identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
