Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Ability to work second-shift hours from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm on weekdays and weekends
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Adherence to safety and hygiene protocols
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to handle trash disposal and use cleaning machinery safely
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper equipment usage, and sanitary standards
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Cleaning and sanitizing of all public areas and restrooms
- Cleaning of all floor surfaces throughout the building utilizing the correct equipment, chemicals, and procedures
- Cleaning of all furniture and its correct placement in all lobby and public spaces
- Cleaning of the hotel spa and all its treatment rooms
- Cleaning of spa wet and dry areas, to include showers, wet rooms sauna, steam rooms, and general public lounges
- Cleaning of the hotel restaurant space including all furnishings, fittings, floors, walls, and other guest contact surfaces
- Window and wall cleaning as needed
- high dusting and high area cleaning on a scheduled basis
- Sweeping of exterior and emptying of all property trash cans inside and outside
- Following a daily checklist to ensure areas are cleaned on time and within operational requirements
