Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to work long and flexible hours
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for entire shift
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Adherence to company standards and procedures
  • Willingness to attend all required trainings and meetings
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear proper uniform and PPE

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
  • Flexible availability including ability to work long hours
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and stand for entire shift
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented demeanor
  • Attendance at hotel required meetings and trainings
  • High standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and PPE compliance
  • Adherence to hotel standards and regulations

Job Duties

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned public areas including lobbies, business center, fitness center, restaurants, restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, offices, elevators, pool areas, parking garages, and driveways
  • Complete special cleaning assignments and assist with room attendant and house attendant duties as needed
  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees
  • Use proper two-way radio etiquette for employee communication
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety of guests, employees and self
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
  • Report maintenance issues to housekeeping supervisor or manager
  • Deliver clean linen and pick up dirty linen or trash as needed
  • Vacuum guest corridors regularly
  • Keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and organized
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
  • Adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
  • Keep stairwells to hotel standards and ash urns clean and filled with sand
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
