Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
- Flexible schedule with potential for long hours
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Strong multitasking and prioritizing abilities
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance and high personal grooming standards including wearing uniform, PPE, and nametag
- Comply with Highgate hotel standards and safety regulations
- Ability to identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions
- Effective problem handling skills including anticipation and resolution
- Ability to cross-train in hotel operations

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred

Job Duties
- Maintain Highgate hotel standards in all assigned public areas including lobbies, business center, fitness center, restaurants, public restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, offices, elevators, pool areas, parking garages, driveways, and other public spaces
- Complete special cleaning assignments and perform Room Attendant and House Attendant duties as necessary
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees at all times
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, employees, and self
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
- Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections and pick up dirty linen or trash as needed
- Collect and dispose of trash from service landings in outside dumpsters
- Vacuum guest corridors and keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of public restrooms
- Adhere to schedule for project cleaning of public areas
- Maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- Keep ash urns clean and filled with sand
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
