Job Requirements
- Physically fit with ability to bend, stoop, and lift
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to work with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, and chemicals
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if applicable
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must comply with all hotel rules and regulations
- Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Physically fit to perform manual tasks
- Knowledge of hospitality service standards beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and guests
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to follow safety guidelines
Job Duties
- Pick-up reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Sign out keys at shift start and sign in at shift end in key control log
- Collect necessary supplies and cart from laundry area
- Maintain quiet in guest room areas
- Clean all public areas of the hotel
- Mop all tile floors using wet floor signs for safety
- Clean and mop public restrooms
- Carry out all reasonable requests from management
- Be flexible with work schedule
- Report to work on time in proper clean uniform with name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and changes
- Be aware of current guest service scores and understand guest comments and needs
- Handle all duties according to hotel policies and internal standards
- Know and act on emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences to manager
- Assist fellow associates to improve hotel operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
