Job Requirements
- must be able to stand and exert well-placed mobility for up to 7 hours in length
- must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs occasionally
- must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks
- requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity
- talking and hearing occur continuously in communication with guests, supervisors, and other employees
- requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- prior hospitality experience preferred
Job Duties
- distributing linen and supplies to designated areas in accordance with established par levels
- reporting linen shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisor
- removing trash from work areas to loading dock or dumpster and clearing trash and linen from cleaning carts
- maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage and distribution areas
- cleaning guest corridors including sweeping, washing floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture and fixtures, cleaning ashtrays, elevators, and tracks
- delivering miscellaneous goods and supplies to guest rooms and linen to guest floors
- setting up and delivering rollaway beds and baby cribs
