Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop, and lift
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be able to work with industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to follow hotel policies and procedures
- Must be flexible in schedule and willing to work various shifts
- Must report to work on time and in proper uniform
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving is required
- Must comply with all hotel safety rules and emergency procedures
- Must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop, and lift
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience operating industrial laundry equipment and cleaning tools
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills for guest interaction
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Understanding of hotel safety and emergency protocols
- Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial roles preferred but not essential
Job Duties
- Pick up reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Sign out and in keys in the key control log at shift start and end
- Proceed to laundry area to pick up cart and supplies
- Maintain quietness in guest room areas to avoid disturbances
- Clean all public areas of the hotel
- Mop all tile floors using wet floor signs for safety
- Clean and mop public restrooms
- Carry out all reasonable requests made by management
- Be flexible regarding work schedule
- Report to work on time and in proper and clean uniform with name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations and updates
- Understand and participate in achieving guest service scores goals
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, rules, and standards
- Know and act according to emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to management
- Assist fellow associates as needed to improve operations
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if driving is involved
