Job Requirements
- Must be physically fit and able to bend, stoop and lift
- Must work independently with little supervision
- Must be able to use industrial laundry equipment, cleaning equipment, and chemicals
- Must be flexible with shift schedules
- Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance if applicable
- Must comply with all hotel rules and safety regulations
- Must wear proper uniform and name tag
- Must report to work on time
Job Qualifications
- Must be physically fit with ability to bend, stoop and lift
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience with industrial laundry and cleaning equipment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Good guest service orientation
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of hotel operations
Job Duties
- Pick-up reports and keys to assigned areas daily
- Sign out and sign in keys in the key control log at shift start and end
- Proceed to laundry area to collect cart and supplies
- Maintain low noise levels in guest room areas
- Clean all public areas of the hotel
- Mop all tile floors using wet floor signs for safety
- Clean and mop public restrooms
- Carry out reasonable requests by management
- Be flexible with work schedule
- Report to work on time in proper uniform including name tag
- Stay knowledgeable about daily hotel operations, procedures, and events
- Understand and contribute to guest service scores and goals
- Perform duties according to hotel policies and standards
- Know and follow emergency procedures
- Report unusual occurrences to manager
- Assist fellow associates to improve hotel operations
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance if applicable
