Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience highly preferred
- Flexible availability with long hours sometimes required
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented approach
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance per scheduling needs

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and employees
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with employees
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety
- Handle Lost and Found items as per hotel standards
- Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping Office at shift end
- Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
- Assist with guestroom cleaning procedures when needed
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections if necessary
- Pick up room attendant's dirty linen or trash as needed
- Collect and dispose of trash from service landings according to procedures
- Vacuum guest corridors
- Keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms
- Adhere to the schedule for project cleaning of public areas
- Maintain stairwells to hotel standards
- Keep ash urns clean and filled with sand
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
