Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual cleaning tasks
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Good vision and hearing required
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to distinguish smells
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Flexibility to perform various tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree preferred but not required
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Always maintains professionalism demonstrating courtesy and respect
- Ability to stand and walk frequently
- Ability to use hands to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, stoop, crouch to clean
- Good near and far vision including ability to read instructions
- Effective communication skills with guests and coworkers including radio use
- Ability to distinguish smells
- Duties may be performed indoors and outdoors
- Ability to hear in moderate noise levels
- Good communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Make sure the lobby area is clean at all times
- Clean all ash urns on elevator landings
- Clean pictures and tables on each floor
- Assist all guests with luggage
- Bring items to supervisor as requested
- Clean bathroom tiles in lobby and nearby areas
- Refill all containers in the lobby and break room
- Clean spills and place slippery floor signs
- Vacuum all landings and hallways
- Sweep and clean stairways
- Notify supervisor of conspicuous people or problems
- Be properly attired in clean uniform and nametag
- Adhere to all housekeeping procedures and hotel rules
- Deliver and set cribs and extra beds
- Deliver guest requests to rooms
- Perform other assigned duties
- Work in other hotel areas as needed
- Maintain the pool area including garbage and towels
- Assist with deliveries to housekeeping or other departments
- Maintain a safe environment for coworkers and guests
