Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of bar or beverage supervisory experience with multiple beverage outlets or hotels
- Valid Ohio Driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and exert up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to complete physical requirements including long periods of standing and walking
- Ability to undergo background checks and drug-free workplace compliance
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to obtain TIPS, Serve Safe, and PIC certifications if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of bar or beverage supervisory experience with multiple beverage outlets or hotels
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- TIPS certification preferred (will train)
- Serve Safe and PIC certification preferred (will train)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills and ability to train others on manuals and POS software
- Previous experience with POS software and Delphi preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of liquor, beer and wine products, trends and service
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends
- Understanding of proper service standards from a 4-diamond perspective
Job Duties
- Manages all aspects of the food and beverage operations for the onsite Pub
- Create and maintain beer, wine and spirits menus and inventory while keeping informed of local and national beverage industry trends
- Complete departmental paperwork such as F&B plans, resume summaries, interdepartmental paperwork, BEOs, amenity forms, and forecasts
- Manage daily reports, guest receipts and cash with the accounting department
- Interview, hire, train and retain server and bartender team
- Ensure knowledgeable service and quality standards through monthly training
- Inventory, order, receive, organize and distribute beverages while maintaining budgeted costs
- Maintain all food and beverage equipment and oversee sanitation and safety procedures
- Ensure the Pub is clean and organized following guidelines
- Provide daily support to Pub operations by delegating and monitoring staff performance
- Interact with guests ensuring client satisfaction and resolve concerns professionally
- Act as the property Manager on Duty as needed
- Maintain a positive culture within the department and property
- Flexible schedule based on business demands
