Job Requirements

  • Part-time availability on weekends only
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining sterile environments
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical cleaning tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position or similar function preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques
  • Choosing correct cleaning agents
  • Operating vacuums
  • Repairing minor electrical and plumbing problems
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Demonstrating good customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Cleans all offices, common areas, restrooms, and breakrooms of the center with proper cleaning chemicals/disinfectant
  • Responsible to clean and replenish all client bedrooms and bathrooms throughout facility
  • Wipes down all surfaces found in common areas located on each client floor (door handles, railings, etc.) with appropriate cleaning chemicals/disinfectant
  • Maintains centers floors by using vacuum, broom, mop, buffer, etc.
  • Removes the trash from all trash bins and places in correct outside dumpster
  • Take daily inventory and report any supply needs to Director of Operations in a timely manner
  • Builds positive relationships with staff and clients
