Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years related job experience and/or training
- Literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Ability to live onsite at ARP or Transitional Living property
- Ability to enforce house rules and maintain facility security
- Ability to perform crisis intervention
- Ability to administer medication as directed
- Physical ability to use near and far vision as required
- Understanding and adherence to company safety practices
- Ability to represent The Salvation Army professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years related job experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
- Ability to perform crisis intervention
- Knowledge of drug and alcohol testing procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to live onsite and work evening and early morning hours
Job Duties
- Enforcement of house rules and overall security of the ARP during evening and early morning hours
- Crisis intervention with beneficiaries as necessary
- Living onsite at Adult Rehabilitation or Transitional Living property
- Implementation and supervision of leisure time activities
- Conducting bed checks as scheduled
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in the residence facility
- Monitoring activities in canteen, day rooms, and food service when Kitchen Coordinator is off
- Conducting random and routine drug and alcohol testing
- Enforcing policies related to residents and maintaining confidentiality
- Documenting violations and reporting to program staff
- Maintaining accurate medication log reports
- Administering medication distribution as per policies and physician's prescription
- Providing updated schedules and announcements for residents and chapel services
- Conducting orientation of new beneficiaries
- Distributing daily reports and gratuities to administrative departments
- Overseeing in-house classes and meetings
- Performing other duties as assigned by Program Director or Administrator
