Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- must communicate effectively in English including reading, writing, and speaking
- must be able to use electronic devices such as iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices to access and interpret information
- must effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
- must pass a background check and drug screening
- must be eligible to obtain required credentials and clearances relevant to the position
- must be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
- must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods in indoor/outdoor environments
- must be able to push, pull, reach with arms, grasp with hands
- must be able to work at elevated heights
- must tolerate exposure to outdoor elements and moderate to high noise levels
- must be able to bend, stretch, squat, kneel, crawl, and crouch in confined spaces
- must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- eligible to work in the United States
- valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- effective communication skills in English including reading, writing, and speaking
- ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically using devices such as iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients both in-person and via electronic means
- ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances such as FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal as applicable
- flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays due to 24/7 airline operations
Job Duties
- Apply deicing fluid type I and type IV to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail
- safely drive large vehicles around aircraft during deicing operation
- accurately record deicing fluid transactions for account purposes
- operate headset/radio to communicate with the dispatcher
- perform daily quality control checks on equipment and vehicles
- comply with all safety standards and procedures
- exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
