Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • six months of relevant work or undergraduate research experience
  • prior experience with social/behavioral studies involving interviews and surveys
  • experience recruiting hard-to-reach populations
  • experience transcribing and de-identifying audio-recorded interviews
  • ability to handle highly sensitive participant data
  • knowledge of mixed methods research design
  • proficiency in data entry
  • proficiency in MS Office applications
  • familiarity with online data capture platforms
  • proficiency with academic internet search engines
  • proficiency with reference management software
  • strong communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • detail-oriented
  • fluency in spoken, written, and reading Spanish
  • ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
  • six months of relevant work or undergraduate research experience
  • prior experience with social/behavioral research involving interviews, surveys, and observational data
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • familiarity with online data capture platforms like REDCap and Qualtrics
  • proficiency with internet search engines and reference management software
  • strong written and oral communication skills
  • bilingual in Spanish and English
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • organizational and time-management skills
  • knowledge of social science research terminology
