- must be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- ensure banquet rooms are set according to banquet event orders and management specifications
- acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting
- take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute
- review and understand event plan at beginning of each shift
- maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items
- ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction
- collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
- adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
- clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
- ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
- set tables to standards and ensure all items are clean and in good repair
- assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- perform other related duties as assigned
