Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- experience in similar facility setting preferred
- ability to work extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to perform physical labor including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to operate cleaning machines and equipment safely
- capacity to work independently and follow instructions
- physical tolerance for exposure to dust, cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- experience in similar facility setting preferred
- perform routine and repetitive housekeeping tasks without immediate supervision
- understand and follow simple instructions
- work with minimal supervision
- tolerant to work under adverse outdoor conditions including extreme heat or cold and exposure to heavy dust, dirt and cleaning agent odors
- use machine, supplies and equipment used to clean the facility
- meet the physical demands of the job in order to mop, sweep, buff, dust and climb
- perform heavy lifting at times 10-50 lbs
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and janitorial tasks as required or assigned including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, washing and waxing
- empty trash and wastebaskets
- transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- assist with event clean-up
- clean restrooms and replenish supplies
- organize and properly store all equipment and supplies assigned to individual
- work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
