Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience advantageous
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Basic written communication skills to complete daily paperwork
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Stock housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning supplies and amenities are sufficient
  • Observe knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • Clean assigned guest rooms thoroughly and restock amenities
  • Complete housekeeping checklist accurately
  • Report damages or hazards in guest rooms to supervisor
  • Secure guest room doors upon exiting
  • Keep corridors and service areas neat at all times
  • Turn in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
  • Follow fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Use protective equipment as required
  • Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, and property damage
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • Assist other housekeeping personnel as needed
  • Perform related duties as requested by management
