Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to bend, reach, stoop, and stand for extended periods

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
  • Experience in hospitality or cleaning roles preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks of bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
  • Good communication skills for guest and team interaction
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Attention to detail for cleaning and inspecting rooms
  • Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

  • Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure cleaning needs, equipment, and amenities are available
  • Observes knocking procedures before entering guest rooms
  • Cleans assigned guest rooms thoroughly and stocks amenities
  • Completes housekeeping checklists and marks clean rooms for inspection
  • Reports damages or hazards found in guest rooms
  • Secures guest room doors upon exit
  • Maintains clean corridors and service areas
  • Turns in lost and found items and guest room keys
  • Adheres to company policies and safety procedures
  • Reports unsafe conditions, accidents, and injuries to management
  • Provides a safe work environment by following safety rules
  • Assists other housekeeping personnel as needed
  • Maintains neat and well-groomed appearance
