Job Requirements

- Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
- Identity Verified Print fingerprint clearance card
- Ability to work 180 days per year

- Ability to handle physical custodial duties

Job Duties
- Clean inside and outside of cafeteria including tables, chairs, milk coolers, walk-in freezers, refrigerators, storage rooms
- Consult with Cafeteria Manager for planning, prioritizing, and scheduling activities
- Deliver janitorial supplies, condiments, food items throughout cafeterias
- Inspect facilities to ensure safe operations and identify necessary repairs
- Maintain supplies and equipment for proper facility upkeep
- Monitor student behavior during meals to ensure compliance and safety
- Participate in unit meetings and in-service training
- Prepare documentation such as inventory and temperature logs
- Prepare cafeteria for daily operations including setup and FIFO management
- Requisition equipment, supplies and materials
- Respond to immediate safety and operational concerns
- Secure cafeteria and kitchen by checking doors, furniture, lights, and temperatures
- Stock snacks, condiments and supplies while managing inventory
- Support special events by moving tables and cleaning
