Job Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work variable, part-time, or full-time hourly shifts based on theatre needs and employee availability
- Must comply with company dress code
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, talk, and hear frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Must meet vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Ability to handle emergency situations when called upon
- Must maintain regular and consistent attendance
- Willingness to undergo and complete training, including topics such as sexual harassment and discrimination
- At least 18 years of age if assigned duties include selling or serving alcohol according to state or local laws
Job Qualifications
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
- Good public speaking ability
- Effective listening skills and clear, direct responses
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- Ability to identify and correct errors
- Ability to identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes
- Capability to evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence
- Capacity to take action beyond what is necessarily called for
- Ability to perform under pressure and opposition
- Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management
- Ability to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities to achieve desired objectives
- If applicable, completion of legally required state or local alcohol sales and serving training and obtaining the required certificate
- Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University
Job Duties
- Operate POS system, including proper handling and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers checks, gift cards, and redeemed coupons as well as concession stock inventory
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment
- Upsell and suggestive selling
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws
- Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and meal periods
- Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stub, and direct patrons to their auditoriums
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary
- Enforce the MPAA rating system
- Conduct in theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe quality environment within the auditoriums
- Report to management any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations that arise at the theatre
- Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management
- Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other areas outside of the auditorium
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment
- Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management
