Job Requirements
- Meet physical demands including mobility, lifting, carrying, working from various heights, and exposure to moderate to loud noises
- operate personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office
- operate portable radio and standard office equipment including copier and printing plotter
- follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively
- organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- work effectively under pressure and strict schedules
- maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees and patrons
- remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
Job Qualifications
- Completed or currently seeking degree in Facility Management, Hospitality, Tourism or Sports Management or equivalent industry experience
- ability to make good decisions under pressure
- excellent organizational skills
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- solid computer experience in Windows XP, Microsoft applications, and Excel
- Photoshop and AutoCAD experience preferred but not required
- ability to work with limited supervision
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
Job Duties
- Provide direct assistance to the Event Services department on event days
- assist other departments with game day reports and projects
- ensure requests of the Lessee and contract requirements are met while adhering to City of Glendale and stadium policies and procedures
- attend client pre and post event meetings
- assist in gathering event information in advance of events
- prepare event data sheets, CAD drawings, cost estimates, settlements and event recaps
- plan and organize facility setup and provide on site assistance to staff and clients during events
- create and place event signage and manage signage inventory
- prepare weekly meeting agendas and event meeting recap notes
- assist with wristband distribution and inventory management
- oversee event day ejection processing and paperwork
- perform other duties as assigned
