- previous warehouse or freight handling experience preferred
- forklift certification or relevant training
- physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
- ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Qualifications

- forklift certification or hazmat training
- ability to lift and move objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
Job Duties
- load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment in compliance with state, federal, and Department of Transportation regulations
- operate dock tools to ensure freight is loaded securely and properly, including maintaining straps, bars, air bags, cardboard, and dunnage
- load, recoup, rewrap, and stack freight as needed
- verify shipments by reading labels and correctly securing freight for both loading and unloading trailers
- follow established bill and quality control procedures to ensure timely, claims-free, and cost-efficient shipments
- log, report, and process any shortages and damages to freight
- promote and maintain a safe and clean work environment
